A Softer Kind of Change

There is a quiet shift that happens when the seasons begin to turn. The light changes, the air softens, and the world slowly lets go of what it no longer needs to hold.

The light seems to linger above a landscape in motion. Beneath it, thick, textured layers push and pull in different directions, each one leaving traces of what came before. There is a sense of movement, but no rush to arrive anywhere. Things are shifting, settling, making room for something else.

Ridges rise and fall, colours meet and drift apart, and each layer holds something of the one beneath it. Like the landscape in autumn, there is both letting go and making room.

A Softer Kind of Change is an invitation to lean into the season rather than resist it. To slow down without needing to stop completely. To let a few things fall, loosen your grip on what has run its course, and notice what still carries a spark.

Not every change needs to be a grand beginning. Sometimes it is simply a little more room to breathe, a little less to carry, and the warmth of knowing that something new can take shape in its own time.

A piece that invites you to follow the season's quieter rhythm, and discover what wants more space when you stop trying to make everything grow at once.
