Welcome to Studio Villekulla

A crooked little house of creative mischief

A young woman with long blonde hair throwing colorful paint in the air and reaching out with her hand, surrounded by a colorful splash background.

Art that stirs. Texture that speaks. Color that wakes something inside you. I’m Anna — and around here, nothing’s too strange to try.

Curious what that means?

Pieces with a Pulse

Welcome to the heart of Studio Villekulla — where paint becomes emotion, and no two pieces are ever the same.
Here’s a peek at what’s come alive so far.
Each one began in curiosity, and ended in surprise.

Stylized heart and electrocardiogram line with pink paint splatter
Abstract painting of a flower with orange and purple petals and green leaves, set against a textured blue and gold background.

Bloom

Turquoise, gold, pink — a tropical burst of becoming.

This one didn’t ask for permission to blossom — it just did. A little wild, a little loud, and completely unapologetic. “Bloom” is that moment right before the breakthrough, where colour collides with courage. Painted with palette knives, fingertips, and maybe a splash of rebellion. Paradise flower energy meets barefoot freedom. Because why wait to become, when you can bloom right now?

Abstract textured painting in shades of pink, red, and orange with faint scribbles and circular shapes.

Summer Nights

Earth tones, golden glow, secret shimmer.

Inspired by warm stone floors under bare feet and the slow melt of dusk. “Summer Nights” is a whisper — all about what’s felt more than seen. Texture you want to touch, color that hums like a secret. There’s a moon somewhere in there… or maybe it’s just a feeling. Meditative. Moody. Like watching a candle flicker at midnight, barefoot in an old courtyard, heart wide open.

Abstract colorful painting with splashes of paint and swirling patterns, featuring a mix of vibrant and dark hues on a textured background.

Persistent

Dark spirals, light streaks, a dance with resistance.

Growth isn’t always pretty — but it sure is real. “Persistent” is the messy middle: the push, the pull, the spiraling into who you’re becoming. It’s movement over perfection, grit over gloss. Painted in the tension between shadow and sparkle, this piece carries the whole storm — and the golden sky beyond it. For every heart that keeps going even when it’s hard: this one’s for you.

From Crayon Walls to Canvas Calls

A young girl with blonde hair sitting at a table, holding a small toy submarine in her right hand, wearing a patterned shirt, with paper and art supplies on the table.

From doodling on walls as a kid to painting with park sand and pigment in my attic studio — I’ve never done things the “normal” way.

Art became my way to feel through life, and over the years, it’s grown alongside me — across continents, through studies in psychology, and into this wildly curious studio called Villekulla.

    Commission a Feeling

    Not a formula — a conversation.
If there's a story, a mood, a color that won’t let go... let’s follow it.
We'll co-create something honest and alive — no pressure, just curiosity.
(Like when Bloom appeared because a wall needed to breathe spring.)

  • A bedroom with a wooden bed frame and blue bedding, two wooden nightstands with lamps and decor, a large abstract blue painting above the bed, and wooden accents on the walls.
