Welcome to Studio Villekulla
A crooked little house of creative mischief
Art that stirs. Texture that speaks. Color that wakes something inside you. I’m Anna — and around here, nothing’s too strange to try.
Curious what that means?
Pieces with a Pulse
Welcome to the heart of Studio Villekulla — where paint becomes emotion, and no two pieces are ever the same.
Here’s a peek at what’s come alive so far.
Each one began in curiosity, and ended in surprise.

Bloom
Turquoise, gold, pink — a tropical burst of becoming.
This one didn’t ask for permission to blossom — it just did. A little wild, a little loud, and completely unapologetic. “Bloom” is that moment right before the breakthrough, where colour collides with courage. Painted with palette knives, fingertips, and maybe a splash of rebellion. Paradise flower energy meets barefoot freedom. Because why wait to become, when you can bloom right now?
Summer Nights
Earth tones, golden glow, secret shimmer.
Inspired by warm stone floors under bare feet and the slow melt of dusk. “Summer Nights” is a whisper — all about what’s felt more than seen. Texture you want to touch, color that hums like a secret. There’s a moon somewhere in there… or maybe it’s just a feeling. Meditative. Moody. Like watching a candle flicker at midnight, barefoot in an old courtyard, heart wide open.
Persistent
Dark spirals, light streaks, a dance with resistance.
Growth isn’t always pretty — but it sure is real. “Persistent” is the messy middle: the push, the pull, the spiraling into who you’re becoming. It’s movement over perfection, grit over gloss. Painted in the tension between shadow and sparkle, this piece carries the whole storm — and the golden sky beyond it. For every heart that keeps going even when it’s hard: this one’s for you.
From Crayon Walls to Canvas Calls
From doodling on walls as a kid to painting with park sand and pigment in my attic studio — I’ve never done things the “normal” way.
Art became my way to feel through life, and over the years, it’s grown alongside me — across continents, through studies in psychology, and into this wildly curious studio called Villekulla.
