1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services and products offered by Anna Scharping, trading as Studio Villekulla, a sole trader registered in Belgium (VAT number: BE0774393065), with registered address in Pastoor van Lerberghestraat 9, 8560 Wevelgem, Belgium.
By booking a service, purchasing a product, or engaging with Studio Villekulla in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Where applicable, international clients retain any rights afforded to them under the laws of their country of residence, in particular regarding consumer protection.
2. Services Offered
Studio Villekulla offers the following services and products:
Creative Playground — in-person group events combining abstract art and mindset work
1:1 Mindset Coaching — individual coaching programmes delivered online or in person
Original Artwork — abstract paintings available for purchase via the Studio Villekulla webshop
Commissioned Artwork — bespoke pieces created to order (subject to separate agreement)
3. Bookings & Payments
3.1 Creative Playground Events
Booking is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Spots are limited and held on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment must be received prior to the event date to secure your place.
Prices are stated on the Studio Villekulla website and are subject to change. The price at time of booking applies.
3.2 1:1 Coaching
Coaching programmes are confirmed upon receipt of the agreed deposit or full payment. The standard rate for a 3-month coaching journey (6 sessions) is stated on the Studio Villekulla website at time of booking.
Payment options:
Full payment upfront (preferred) — secures your programme immediately
50/50 split — 50% upfront to confirm booking, 50% due before session 4
3-month instalment plan — available by prior agreement; each instalment must be paid before the corresponding sessions take place
Studio Villekulla reserves the right to pause or discontinue sessions if agreed payments are not received on time. Overdue payments may incur an administrative fee of 10% per month.
A limited number of reduced-rate coaching spots are available each year. These are offered at Anna's sole discretion and are not guaranteed. Enquiries are welcome via email.
3.3 Commissioned Artwork
Commissions require a non-refundable deposit of 50% upon agreement, with the remaining 50% due upon completion and prior to delivery. Full details will be confirmed in a separate written agreement.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
4.1 Creative Playground — by the client
All Creative Playground bookings are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to a future event of equal or lesser value, subject to availability. Rebooking requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event by emailing anna@studio-villekulla.com.
No-shows without prior notice forfeit their spot with no right to rebook.
4.2 Creative Playground — by Studio Villekulla
In the unlikely event that Studio Villekulla must cancel an event (due to illness, insufficient bookings, or circumstances beyond our control), all participants will receive a full refund or the option to rebook for a future date. Studio Villekulla is not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants.
4.3 Coaching — by the client
Individual coaching sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
If a client wishes to withdraw from a coaching programme entirely:
Before session 1: full refund, minus a 10% administration fee
After session 1 has taken place: no refund is issued for completed sessions; remaining sessions may be offered as credit at Anna's discretion
4.4 Coaching — by Studio Villekulla
In the event that Anna is unable to continue a coaching programme due to illness or personal circumstances, a proportional refund will be issued for any sessions not yet delivered, or an alternative arrangement will be offered.
5. Artwork & Webshop
5.1 Original Artwork
All original artwork sales are final. No returns or exchanges are accepted, as each piece is a unique, handmade original. Please review all product images, dimensions, and descriptions carefully before purchasing.
In the unlikely event that a piece arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact anna@studio-villekulla.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Studio Villekulla will assess each case individually and work towards a fair resolution.
5.2 Prints
Where print options are available, these are produced and shipped by a third-party print partner. Returns for prints are subject to the print partner's own policy, which will be communicated at time of purchase.
5.3 Shipping
Studio Villekulla ships worldwide. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Studio Villekulla is not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or circumstances beyond our control. Import duties or taxes payable in the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Studio Villekulla website, social media channels, and communications — including artwork, photographs, text, and concepts — remains the intellectual property of Anna Scharping unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing a piece of artwork transfers physical ownership of that piece only. All reproduction rights, copyright, and moral rights remain with Anna Scharping.
Participants in Creative Playground events consent to being photographed or filmed for Studio Villekulla's promotional use (social media, website). If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform Anna before the event begins.
7. Confidentiality & Privacy
All information shared within coaching sessions is held in strict confidence and will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.
Studio Villekulla collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy law. By engaging with Studio Villekulla, you consent to your data being used for the purposes of providing the booked service and, where opted in, for newsletter communications.
You may withdraw consent, request access to your data, or request deletion at any time by contacting anna@studio-villekulla.com. Full details are available in the Studio Villekulla Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Studio Villekulla's services — including Creative Playground events and 1:1 coaching — are not a substitute for professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic treatment. If you are currently receiving mental health support, please consult your practitioner before engaging with Studio Villekulla.
Participants in Creative Playground events attend at their own risk. Studio Villekulla takes reasonable precautions to ensure a safe environment but cannot be held liable for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from attendance, except in cases of gross negligence.
Studio Villekulla's total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the relevant service.
9. Changes to These Terms
Studio Villekulla reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on the Studio Villekulla website. Continued use of services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Studio Villekulla will always seek to resolve any dispute amicably and in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes are subject to Belgian law and the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may hold under the law of your country of residence.
